TMy father was a keen walker and most of our family holidays were spent overlooking Ullswater, which Dad always called the most beautiful of all the lakes. He had a full set of Wainwrights and faithfully recorded each walk and who accompanied him. Five years ago my eldest daughter re-introduced me to the joy of walking when she encouraged me to walk the West Highland Way with her to celebrate her 30th birthday and ever since I have been hooked. In my journey to a new understanding of life, over the last 3.5 years, walking has played a huge role and rarely a day goes by when I am not out in nature, allowing it to feed my soul.Click on the photos below to read about my walks which give enough details for you to try them out too. There are more walks in my book Words, Walks, Wisdom available now on Amazon.
